Weddings

It is very important to make sure we are the right fit to work together. I would be delighted to meet you in person, or even over Skype! Tell me about who you are as a couple, how you met, and what you’re passionate about. Tell me about your style, or theme for your wedding. Let me tell you about my style and how I work. If it’s a good fit, I would be thrilled to be a part of your wedding day! I will document whatever happens, highlight the beautiful event you have planned, and most importantly, capture the immense love between you, the bride and groom. Nothing delights me more!

Engagement Sessions

An engagement session is one of the best ways to guarantee the success of your wedding photos. We will use this session to get comfortable working together and loosened up. I would love the chance to show you what I can do and how much fun photos can be so that you won’t have to think twice on your wedding day, you’ll trust me and you’ll enjoy yourself. You get to dress up and spend one hour having a crazy amount of fun and being adorably in love…and get it all documented. I’m telling you…this is probably the most fun you will ever have getting your photos taken!

Albums

You need to seriously consider your wedding album. Many couples tell me they would prefer to have files and create the albums themselves. You are welcome to do so. However, I warn you that in my experience, that will never happen! You will have hundreds of photos to choose from and you’re emotionally invested in each one. It is so overwhelming to narrow down images that you will probably never get around to creating a real heirloom album that your children and grandchildren will enjoy flipping through endlessly. You’re investing in your wedding photos and I’m so glad you value them as much as I do. Don’t let them end up buried in a folder on your computer for no one to ever see.

The wedding album I offer is a 10” photo album with thick lay-flat pages. (For the record, it still takes my breath away to open a book and see a stunning wedding photo spread across two pages. That’s bigger than your lap!) These albums are professional quality and will last. They can sit on your coffee table for 50 years and still be perfectly intact, not even a bent page. Usually albums contain 15 spreads which is about 70 of your favorite images.

Families

How many years have gone by since you last had family portraits taken? How long has it been since you updated the photo on the wall, or even had an image that you loved enough to print as a large canvas, an art piece? It’s not about pushing and prodding until each child is perfectly posed, it’s about documenting the personality of every family member and the way you all interact together.

Newborns

You’re only newborn once! In fact, only for a few days. Newborn photos are best taken between 5-10 days old. At this time, your baby will be most sleepy and content, easily posed and photographed. This means you’ll need to plan ahead, so book early! Once I know your due date, I will be able to keep a window of time open so that whenever your baby is born, we can make adjustments as needed to the date of the photo session.
